The President of the 76th session of the General Assembly, Mr. Abdulla Shahid convened a series of open, inclusive, informal thematic consultations to provide the Secretary-General with an opportunity to inform Member States on the thinking regarding the follow-up to the "Our Common Agenda" report, and to allow Member States the opportunity to further consider the various proposals, options and potential means of implementation.
The third thematic cluster (21-22 February 2022) entitled "Frameworks for a peaceful world – promoting peace, international law and digital cooperation" primarily covered inter alia proposals in chapter IV of the Common Agenda report, including paragraphs 89 (new agenda for peace), 91 (outer space), 93 (digital compact) and 127 (intergovernmental organs), [23] (rule of law), [34], (human rights mechanisms, Universal Periodic Review), 35 (application of human rights to frontier issues), [36] (legal identity), 96 (international law), 113 (UN support to social contract) and 129 (funding human rights mechanisms).
